I ask this question as I sit here and think about the students that are leaving the ministry this year for school and jobs, as well as those that are coming into the ministry. Some of the schools they are going to are great and the jobs that they have been offered even better (yes in the recession).
But I ask myself where are they going? and I realize that they can only go where we as the leaders, show them they can. Yes some will find their way without any help and through God’s divine hand but many of them are looking to us, to lead them and explain to them where the paths they choose might take them.
As a result I am encouraged and even charged to push them more than I have ever done into “Lord Willing” the right path because everyone and everything else is trying to lead them their way. The media on TV as a path for them to follow, Radio has another path, and some of their friends have even another path, what path will you show them?
